Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics Creating Depth in Family Health Care Clinics.

Carlinville, IL – Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics is creating more depth among Girard Family Health Care, Carlinville Family Health Care and the Walk-in Clinic. Kate Wilkens, MD and Jamie Welty, FNP-BC, DNP will now be seeing patients at the Girard Family Health Care, in Girard, IL. Dr. Wilkens has been a primary physician for 11 years practicing at the Carlinville Family Health Care Clinic location. Jamie Welty will be splitting her practice between Girard and Carlinville. Welty, FNP-BC, DNP is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor's of science and nursing in 2017 and completed her doctorate of nursing in 2020 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

The Walk-in Clinic also welcomes Ruth Holley, APRN, working alongside Thomas Hatley, MD, MPH. Holley, APRN is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s in nursing in 2005 and completed her master’s in nursing education in 2007 at McKendree College. She received her post-master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner in 2015 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she served as faculty for the SIUE nursing program.

Harald Lausen, DO and Lourdes Cruz, MD (pediatrics) will continue to practice at the Carlinville Family Health Care Clinic and will also be joined by Mary Beck, APN.

Walk-in Clinic is available 7 days a week from 8 AM - 4PM located within Carlinville Family Health Care.
