Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics Sponsors Macoupin County Fair Kids Corner

Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics is proud to sponsor the Kids Corner from June 7-11 at the 2023 Macoupin County Fair! Located on Office Road between the Franke Pavilion and the Exhibit Halls, the Kids Corner offers a wide range of family-friendly activities and entertainment, allowing all ages to enjoy this annual summer tradition. This year’s Kids Corner attractions include:

All American Lumberjack Show — This world-class, 30-minute show features a display of wood-cutting skills from boom running to chainsaw carving demonstrations. In addition, an interactive lumberjack camp will be held nightly, allowing younger fairgoers to try their hand at lumberjacking.
Bear Hollow Wood Carvers — America’s top wood carvers create stunning works of art in this live exhibition — watch logs transform into breathtaking sculptures before your eyes!
Mobile Dairy Classroom — Ever wonder how much work goes into getting a gallon of milk into your fridge? Learn from trained instructors — and a live cow! — how milk gets from the farm to your home and the process it undergoes along the way.
Harvest Hideout — Take a rest from the hustle and bustle at the Harvest Hideout in the W.W. Bates Building. Enjoy coloring books, a monster mural, pedal tractors, and agricultural displays for kids — plus nursing and changing stations for the littlest fairgoers!
