Carlinville Hospital Celebrates Nurses Week In Downtown Carlinville

In honor of Nurses week, May 6-12, Carlinville Area Hospital hosted a number of events. On May 11, nurses were treated to an evening on the Carlinville Square.

The Well on Main hosted the event. Food, drinks and door prizes were given away at The Well, and Hunter Sharp was presented to provide live music for the group. Local businesses and vendors were also part of the event, setting up booths on the Carlinville Square and select businesses offered extended shopping hours.

Brave Hazel, My Sister's Closet, Collected Boutique, Historic Treasures, The Rabbit Hole, Crowe Boot and Shoe and Kahl's Greenhouse were open late for shopping. There were 11 local vendors located on the Square as well, selling a variety of products such as Candles, makeup, pottery, cups, bags and shirts, among many other items.
