Centralized Scheduler
Position Summary:
The Centralized Scheduler is responsible for the pre-certifications and scheduling of hospital services for patients when physician's orders are internal, telephoned, faxed or brought in by the patient. This includes obtaining insurance authorizations, pre-registering patients, and verifying that the diagnosis provided and testing ordered meets Medicare Coverage Policy prior to scheduling in an effort to reduce denials by Medicare and in compliance with the applicable laws and regulation.

Status: Full-Time; 80 hours per two week pay period; Days; Non-Exempt
Education/ Certification Requirement:
- High school diploma or GED required; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PRN Patient Access Representative
Position Summary:
The Patient Access Rep greets and interviews incoming patients or representatives and enters information required for admission into the computer.
Department: Admitting
Status: PRN - As Needed
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; or minimum 3 months related experience
Market Range: Starting at $18.75/hour - rate will be determined based on years of applicable experience
Competencies and Skills: Assist with front desk tasks, Customer Service oriented, computer skills, ability to learn various software programs.
